When to let out of play pen?
Hi everyone! I just got my 9 week old male corgi. It is only day 3 with him. He has been sleeping at night in his crate - except for the usual 2-3 potty break wake ups! Some small whimpers but then he will settle.
We have only been keeping him in the play pen, which is in the living room. His crate is located in there as well along with toys. We move his crate next to our bed for bedtime. We pick him up to carry him outside to prevent any distractions and potty accidents. We play with him in the pen, feed in there, and do mental stimulation games.
However, I’m wondering if we are making a mistake not exposing him to other parts of the living room/kitchen. We want to eventually have him roam around and snuggle on the couch but worried about introducing him to the area and making it more difficult to go back into the pen.
