Hi everyone,

I'm a Class 12 student from India currently preparing for JEE through a dummy school. However, studying abroad has become one of my biggest goals, especially for Computer Science, AI, or Data Science.

My profile:

• Maintained strong academic performance throughout school.
• Currently in Class 12
• Preparing for JEE
• No SAT/ACT score yet (planning to take one for the first time)
• Basic coding experience

I'm feeling a bit lost and would really appreciate guidance from people who have gone through this process.

Some questions:

1. Is it too late to build a competitive profile?
2. Should I focus on the SAT or ACT?
3. What universities/countries should I target for CS/AI?
4. What can I do over the next few months to strengthen my application?
5. Would taking a gap year be worth considering if it helps me improve my profile and application chances?
