SA-AK200 time capsule
While I was helping an older gentleman move out, he gave me this for free. The speakers, the CD changer, and the remote are all original out of box, and were untouched since January 2004 when he plugged it in. He used it twice. There isn't a single thing wrong with it. There are some skips, but after cleaning the ODD lens, I think it might just be my own CD with some minor scratches. Do these historically have any problems with the ODD?
Update, I took off the cover, and the screws for the ODD housing were kinda half-ass hand tightened, so after getting those nice and snug, and adding some foam feet, I haven't had a scratch or skip since. I think that it was just getting shook up way too much, and wasn't reading properly because of all of the vibrations. Works perfect now!
