Cameo Pro Mark 2

I bought this machine off Marketplace still new in box, but I can’t seem to figure out the alignment on it. It moves over to the right on startup, and then it won’t go left from that position at all. It’s about 4.5 inches right of where the left roller is. Because of this it won’t pick up any registration marks or start any cuts.

I’ve tried calibrating and it cut perfectly on the right crosses but I couldn’t get it to the left ones. I’ve tried the motor reset by manually moving it back and forth with the machine turned off. Nothing changed.

Please help me, I’m not sure what to do from here. Ive attached a video of the startup to make sure everything is looking good there. Any help is appreciated.

TM240 vs Pro-1100

I have a sticker business as a side hustle. I do approximately 500 3x3 stickers per week.

Until now I have been using a Cricut Maker 4 cutter and a Canon G4280 printer. It works fine, but it takes too much time and I have too many pieces of sticker paper sitting on all my household surfaces while the ink dries.

I’m looking at upgrading to a Siser Romeo cutter (24 inch). I need help choosing a printer though.

I will be using inkjet printable vinyl around 14-18mil thick, so quite a few printers on the market are out of the question. I have narrowed it down pretty much to the TM240 or the Pro-1100. The Pro-1100 is a 17 inch wide, the TM240 is 24 inches. The print quality is better I’ve heard on the Pro-1100, however the cost of ink is higher as it uses 11 cartridges. The TM240 uses 5 cartridges, and is much more efficient on ink usage.

Of course 24 inch would be nicer for getting more stickers done at once, but I want to make sure they are good quality. Even with the 17 inch it is much better than 8.5x11 that I am currently doing though.

I’m hoping someone has some experience with these printers and can give some insight. Or if you have other options around the $1500-2000 CAD price range that would be better I appreciate those recommendations as well.

Thank you for your time and advise!
