Looking for horror books that are so engrossing you want to live in them
I know this is a really vague request, but I’m looking for horror books that made you want to live inside their nightmare worlds. I’m not really sure how else to explain it, I just have this thing where some horror media makes me want to live inside them. Not in like a cozy way, like they just sort of… call to me? If it helps any, some of things that have made me feel this way are the first four Silent Hill games, the poster for the 2005 Call of Cthulhu movie, the Labyrinth from Hellraiser 2, and the sewers in Stephen King’s IT.
I just finished The Church Beneath the Roots by Felix Blackwell and I desperately want >!to live inside the tunnels, pyramid, and church inside of the mountain.!< Now I kind of need something else to help with this.
