Over the Jax hate
I used to hate jax BIG TIME in the early episodes and was even in that one hate subreddit, i wasnt much of a fan of her character because at that point in the series Jax was just an asshole for the sake of it and I guess she still was.
By the time I finished the finale I had extremely mixed feelings for Jax the same way I did for Shinji Ikari at the end of Evangelion. Jax was still a bad person but now I understood Jax, I had a very similar period of my life masking the fact I was trans by pushing others a way and overall being a bad friend. Jax still is a shitty person but I could connect to her which is what I think Gooseworx's target audience was.
All this being said I've come to hate Jax haters making clips of "insert media if gooseworx wrote it" and you'll see "isnt she lovely" playing over a video of a straight up serial killer or adolf hitler. Genuinely did no one understand the ending as and its context?? The scene never justified Jax's actions, it was to portray how Jax had finally come to accept herself and who she is as a woman and the tragedy that she did it all too late after hurting so many people when hiding wasnt nessicary at all.
I'm not only over hating Jax as a character but I'm over the unnecessary Jax slander for people who dont even understand what the finale was intending.
