We're looking to get a small solar system installed but are trying to make sure it makes sense financially. The new system will sit on our garage to extend an existing system with a FiT agreement on the house.
We've been quoted £7000 for:
- a 2kW system (4 panels)
- 10 kWh battery
- 6kWh hybrid inverter
- 2.5 kW inverter
- EV charger provision/placement
We were hoping to charge the battery overnight when rates are cheaper. Does this make sense?
