What about the rodents?
I know they likely picked it up as they travelled South America, but what about the rodents that likely carried it? how long do the rodents live if they're a carrier? are we sure the rodents didn't get on the ship? I know about the strain possibly being the human-to-human transmissable variant is what we're focusing on, but it's the rodents I'm curious about. All types of wildlife traffic could go unchecked on a cruise ship, especially if they don't know what to look for in the first weeks of the incubation stages before being able to identify the disease.
