New Preorders Opening Tomorrow

According to ToyArk, MAFEX revealed 3 new figures that will open for preorder in Japan tomorrow, 6/23/26. The figures are Ahsoka Tano (Peridea Version) from the Star Wars Disney Plus Series “Ahsoka”, Bo-Katan Kryze (Season 3 Version) from the Star Wars Disney Plus Series “The Mandalorian”, and Black Panther (Vibranium Energy Version) from Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame. Even though the Bo-Katan figure is pretty much a re-release with some new deco and accessories, I always love when MAFEX drops new Star Wars figures. So, I’m happy. Thoughts?

Blinded Kanan Jarrus removed from YakFace’s “Blind” Intercepted Transmissions

So, it looks like the rumors are true and Hasbro has shelved the Blind Kanan Jarrus figure in the Black Series, according to YakFace’s latest “Blind” Intercepted Transmissions. Very disappointed to say the least! I think this figure would’ve sold well and I don’t understand their reasoning at all.

Upon the announcement that Hot Toys is releasing a Maul Shadow Lord figure, I think MAFEX and/or S.H. Figuarts should follow suit. Maul figures always sell, the show is wildly popular, MAFEX has never done a Maul figure altogether, and it’d be an opportunity for these brands to dip into the Star Wars Animation universe (I do realize that SHF has already done 2x Visions figures and has the 3x Clone Wars figures coming out in the near future). Hasbro’s The Black Series is releasing this figure in the same Clone Wars sculpt they used in 2022 with an added cheap looking soft goods cloak. However, I think this figure deserves to be done right: 2x head sculpts, lightsaber effects blades, a wired soft goods cloak, the Spybot droid, alternate pairs of hands, etc. Anyone else agree?
