I recently got into this game with a TON of my friends. I wanted to do a shield build to protect the ones that are having trouble in combat who refuse to listen to my advice of mobility and i-frame weapon skills and spells

Does the shield efficiency from the scholar blood type - or from any source which I'm not aware of yet - still boost a shield given to an ally? Or does it just amplify all shields used on YOURSELF?
