The Phantom and his Nightmusic.

...Come on, like I wouldn't do this?

Yes, I was on a Phantom of the Opera kick when I decided Stellyse was the Nightmusic, shush.

Anyone else loving this portrait mode?

Stellyse and her three love interests.

Hush. I'm adoring this. I could spend hours with this (and, uh, have already.) Best surprise.

Of COURSE Asurada would do this.

Two simple words, and yet I haven't quit smiling all day.

Dammit, Asurada. ❤️

(And now I also know that the Simulacrum you have the highest affinity with is the one who wishes you a happy birthday. Makes sense.)

Guess who's back...back again...with questions about shoddy localisation.

Thanks to u/rikuzero1, I have now found and completed Brighton's Phantom (I'm so tired I almost typed Brighton's Fandom. They sure were not that.) Thank you again mate, you helped me throw myself straight in the deep end of FEELS I was not prepared for and made me learn a lot. :P Appreciate you!

Anyway, while this doesn't give away any of what the quest is actually about, I do have a question regarding a certain plot point and someone's name, so under a spoiler we go. (And hopefully the spoiler WORKS THIS TIME)

So, when you go talk to Stephen the bookworm - and my goodness can that man ramble on about Asurada; who took me, put me into ToF and made me elderly, because that's way too on the nose, lmfao - he mentions a person called "Scott Vincent", in connection to Nanto and the matter of Asurada adopting him. However. Some files you read later refer to this exact same person as "Vincent Scott". And having completed said quest and nearly typing squid quest - fingers, HOW?, I can't go cross-check the text with the other languages.

My question, then, is threefold. (Yay. Woo.)

1: Which name is actually the correct one? I'm inclined to believe the files (i.e., Vincent Scott) because there were a couple of other minor flubs in Stephen's walls of speech text. Plus, he gets referred to as "Professor Vincent" by Stephen (and might've done in a file. Need to check my screenshots.) as well, and considering ToF's penchant for calling everyone by first names, e.g. Mr Rapha/President Rapha, Supervisor Nanto, General Veronika, etc etc - have I mentioned I actually like this? Not that it's relevant that I do, mind you - that seems to point to what Stephen said having been inadvertently reversed in localisation.
2: If no one actually knows this, can anyone point me to videos of the quest being done in at least CN and/or JP? I could honestly figure it out in any of the languages except...is that Hebrew? I think that's Hebrew. Pretty sure that's Hebrew. Anyway, that's the only one I can't do, but CN/JP preferred if at all possible.
3: If "Vincent Scott" is the correct name (and here's where I make a leap of possible illogic here, like I'm so good at...) is that Nanto's father? Do we now actually know Nanto's last name because of this quest? please be a yes please be a yes please be a yes I can do so much with this in the long-running RP I have with a friend

Thanks to anyone who can possibly answer this one for me!

The bard needs help, part umpteen million and a half.

Hi! Guess who's a drongo again!

I just realised yesterday, doing something totally unrelated (no, I swear, it really was not related), I never actually did the Brighton's Phantom sidequest. (Go me, not bloody noticing sidequest markers or possibly ignoring them. Who knows, it's been too long.) "Ah, so I will do it now!" thinketh yon bard.

Except now we come to the reason I'm here: I...apparently can't do the sidequest now.

(This has vexed me deeply, you have NO idea.)

So actually, I have some questions and theories here.

Question 1: Where the bloody hell is the starting point for this quest?! I went all over Brighton (no joke; spent a couple hours just combing the place) and uh, nada. Zip. Zilch. Nothing. Google was NO HELP. (Neither were YouTube videos, annoyingly...)
Question 2: Can I even do this quest now? I made it to Lockhart and everything I could find about the quest was that it's in the Seven Days in Brighton chapter. Which...well, yeah, can't exactly go BACK to that, now can we?! (goddammit ToF you need story replay)
Question 3: This would make entirely no sense, mind you, but do I have to be playing as Nanto to start this quest? (If so, why would they do that--)

And theories. Uh, with questions.

Theory 1: I still have Brevey's goddamned Live House quest that I can't do because apparently it's tied to the event it comes from. (Is this actually true, though, or did my game just bug out and not put her in the Live House when I did manage to get in with the quest active?) That event's loooooong gone. I can't cancel this quest. Customer service has not responded to multiple "hey, any way we can get this off my quest list plz?" queries. (They never responded on my matrix issue either, which vexes me even more.) Some of what I did find on Google suggests if you have one Simulacrum sidequest going, you cannot pick up a second one. Sounds like a load of you know what to me, but is that actually true? Is Brevey's stupid quest what's preventing me from doing Brighton's Phantom?
Theory 2: I'm...well, in Lockhart. I'm way past Kailo. Does this mean I've locked myself out of doing the quest? It shouldn't, in theory - seeing as I can still pick up sidequests in Aesperia etc - but those also aren't Simulacrum quests, so...who knows...

So overall, to put it more concisely: can I still do the quest and if so, where do I pick it up?

Thanks for any help and I am very sorry for being a dumbass about all of this. Mea maxima culpa.

There's an isekai in my Lockhart!

Spoilered for those who haven't made it to Lockhart.

...Yeah, I got nothing, this just cracked me up.

(look at R-425)

Just the bard at it again.

Just a girl and her virtual boyfriend, nothing to see here, nope...

(This kinda raises an interesting question. Is being in the Network like physically interacting with AI chatbots? >!Was going through my screenshots, and found where Nanto called the good Lana a chatbot. However, she's able to physically interact with people, similar to what happens in the Network...so...hmm. Yes. Interesting question.!<)

(Spoilered that for anyone who has not made it through Kailo's late storyline yet, cause uh, that's a MASSIVE plot point.)
