Built our clan to 50/50 over 2 years, now sitting at 20 members. How do you guys handle the inactive wave? 😮💨
Genuine question for clan leaders here.
We’ve been running our clan for a while now — Crystal CWL, active wars every season, Capital Raids, the whole thing. At our peak we were completely full, donations flowing, wars competitive. It felt like we actually built something.
Then slowly, one by one, people just… stopped logging in. No warning, no goodbye, just gone. Now we’re at 20/50 and the 5-6 of us still active are holding the entire thing together.
The worst part isn’t the empty slots — it’s that we still war, still do CWL, still max clan games every cycle. The clan is alive, just half empty.
A few things I’m genuinely curious about:
• How do you identify players who are about to go inactive before it’s too late?
• Do you do a hard reset (kick everyone, rebuild from scratch) or slowly fill slots?
• Is it even worth saving a clan at this stage or just merge with another?
• For those who rebuilt — what actually worked?
Not looking for a magic fix, just want to hear from people who’ve been through this. The clan has good bones, good people, just need the right players to find us.
