How to become an AME- as a Mechanical Engineering Student
I'm currently studying B.Tech Mechaninal Engineering. Until very recently, I was not aware about Airline Maintenance Engineering having its own schools and its own diploma, I had assumed it was a subdivision of Mechanical/Aeronautical.
Is it necessary for me to attend those 4 years AME Cadet Programmes? The Course seems to have a lot of repeated modules from my current degree. What is the optimal path to reduce redundancy?
