Tree of Life
Hello
I've recently felt a deep connection that has inspired me to study Kabbalah. I understand Kabbalah to be a Jewish mystical tradition and spiritual discipline concerned with understanding the nature of God, creation, the soul, and humanity's purpose for personal growth & transformation.
I'm currently reading my third book and have been listening to podcast Spiritually Hungry and watching The Kabbalah Centre on YouTube, also Weekly Energy Boost with Elisheva Balas, and Eitan Yardeni.
As I study the Tree of Life, I'm fascinated by how the ten Sefirot can be understood as a blueprint of the human soul—from Keter, the Divine Crown, to Malchut, which receives and manifests the qualities of the Sefirot above it.
I'm also intrigued by the significance of their placement, the vertical and horizontal paths, and the three triads that correspond to the intellectual, emotional, and physical dimensions of our being.
I have many questions, but one in particular keeps returning to me.
The Tree of Life is a guide for self-awareness and spiritual growth, how do we recognise the voice of the ego and distinguish it from the voice of the soul?
Is there a way of recognising which Sefirah we are operating from in a given moment, or is it more about observing the balance between them?
I'd love to learn and work with this in my practice, but I also understand that Kabbalah is deeply intricate and complex, and comprehension takes time.
I would appreciate spiritual insight.
Thank you in advance 🙏🏼
With love & light,
