I have this PCGS MS63 1879 S Morgan which seems to be proof-like, but wasn’t graded as such. I’ve received wildly various quotes from local shops/shows. Some say the toning takes away from the possible proof-like grade. Should I crack it open and dip it to remove the toning? Does anyone think the premiums for old constitutional gold and silver will come back when spot prices become less volatile? I have a decent collection of BU/MS constitutional… Thank you for your time and insight! I can send more photos/videos if needed.
