First big upgrade...
I’m looking to make my first big upgrade. Up until now, I’ve only used sub 3000 IEMs like the Tangzu Wan'er SG 2 (Bass/Red Lion Edition), FiiO JD1, and KZ EDX Pro. Because of this, I’m not entirely sure what kind of technical leap to expect in the 15000-20000 bracket, but I really want to ensure I get clean bass performance and a wide soundstage without getting buyer's remorse.
My primary genre is Filmi Pop. For my preferred sound signature, I want hard-hitting bass that stays clean and doesn't get muddy, along with a smooth treble that never becomes shouty or fatiguing. Long-term hearing comfort...
I was very close to ordering the Letshuoer S12 Ultra, but I hesitated because I got lost comparing it to other options in this price bracket. I also noticed that the Crinear Daybreak bundled with the Crinear Powerful Max DAC is currently on a discount, which is making my decision even harder.
Should I stick with my gut on the S12 Ultra, consider the discounted Daybreak bundle, or is there another IEM I am completely overlooking?
