One of my UC piqs is based on me confronting someone (peacefully and verbally dw lol) who stole money from my company (it was like a loan given to them to have them run an errand/buy something for us, and they just ran off with the money) and my college counselor wants me to switch my topic into some other company dispute (like project conflicts or communication issues, etc. which I think is boring…) because she thinks the a topic around a “legal dispute” isn’t a good topic for a college essay.
I personally disagree as I feel this is a much more interesting event than like other common issues that many others may write about. I just kinda need some second opinions before I decide to keep or scrap this theme entirely. Thanks guys 🙏
