I have travel nursed out west in BC, but recently got licensed in AB. I applied for several agencies as my previous does not do contracts in AB. I have family in a large region and so upon recruitment I said I was open to only initial contracts in this region (Southern/Central] and willing to commute at my own cost and open to several specialities if they were in that area( I am waiting to belongings and vehicle to be shipped in and want to stay in the area for 1-3 months until they all arrive so I can store them with family).

But that location is my #1 priority over pay, speciality or length. But after a few weeks I am happy to go anywhere in the province. The recruiter said he was on board with this. They do most contracts in the zones I mentioned as they are an AB only company. He didnt give false promises and said if there is nothing in those areas at the time I want to stay I might not have a contract. Which is fine by me as I'll do PRN work until something opens up or all my things arrive.

Now I signed the contract that I would wotk with them as of my planned move date (summer time) and put in everything but references, and the administrative person who does the paper work keeps asking if I am willing to go anywhere in Ab. I tell her as per my initial hiring interview I only want to go to certain regions until I get all my belongings shipped across country and then I am happy to move afterwards. So I would like my first contract or two to be in this zone. But if there is nothing there that is fine I can do a different local job until then and the company can offer me placements if they get one unfilled.

She told me maybe I shouldn't move forward with the company if I am not willing to go anywhere they want.

Anyone experience this? Its an Admin worker not recruiter. Plus it was agreed before I considered the agency. Other Agencies I worked (in other provinces) were happy to accept requests for areas as long as speciality and rates were flexible.

To me they can offer the contract and if I cant do it or it's not some place I want to work, no is fine? The Admin is giving tone as if I am somehow not good enough if I am not willing to go anywhere any time. There are other agencies so it's not big, but I want to work with this company as they do so many contracts in my desired areas.

Anyone else ever have to deal with this? How was it handled?

My child wants to do digital art classes, but the ones in our area are only taught with bring your own ipads using procreate.

We have a surface pro 9 and a drawing tablet board for our desktop (not spoiled, she saved and worked to get it) I would like to know what would be the lowest cost ipad that can run current procreate and be usable with an apple pen. Last thread I could find asking similar was 2 years ago and suggested the iPad Air 4. But I dont know if that info is out of date. All my tech knowledge is in Android, so I am out of my depth and hoping you all can point me in the right direction.

Hello! I have fine long naturally black straight hair (20inch). I have used tape ins before and really liked it. Looking for online recommendations for good quality to cost long hair extensions 20 & 22inch length in natural black color. I bought amazon "Remy human hair" extensions and one bundle was soft and great and the other bundle felt fake and crunchy despite both being from the same company/description/brand/seller just different lengths. I would rather not spend a fortune! So any discounts would be appreciated. Must ship to Canada!

Trigger warning: Death, loss, assault

Hello. My family are Romani Gypsy. Spellcraft has been generational and common. We moved from our family group many years ago and my Nonna has since passed who was my biggest magical connection so I wanted to ask the magical community.

I have always had "bad luck" on my birthday. But it's not just broken plans-which happen. It is sudden illness on the day. Party venues somehow forgetting the party reservation despite it being logged. Kids assaulted by a stranger at my childhood party. Food poisoning.

But worst of all a lot of death on the day or the day before/after. I have lost multiple beloved pets suddenly on the day of. Family members have gone into organ failure (heart attack, ruptured gallbladder, car accidents etc). Friends about to show up or on the way called to be informed of their families sudden death. I have tried to "think positive" and not plan for the day of. Do volunteer work to turn the energy but nothing works.

My birth itself occurred 3 months too early and I was suppose to have died being so undersized, my mother was being abused by my father and he beat her into early labor. When she went to the hospital they refused to believe she could be in labor. She refused to leave and delivered alone at the hospital.

My parents were living away from my family group(my mother and Nonna are estranged, my mother does not practice any magic or rituals or family culture. ) My mothers two sisters were also pregnant and due near my due date. My mothers sisters had normal pregnancies and births that my Nonna attended with our large family.

Mom went into labor early and delivered the same day as her elder sister despite being due 3 months later the same day as her younger sister. (And in a different part of the country)

The cousin with the same birthday (2 min apart) does have odd things happen to him on our shared birthday but not overwhelmingly bad except for our grandfather going into organ failure and he himself having a car accident one year. But he reported that except for the birthdays we celebrate together nothing bad happens. Just odd things.

I do not know if there was intentional curse placed. If it is from the chaotic and violent nature from how I was born. From something inadvertently done by my mother as she hated me from pregnancy (she wanted to leave dad but stayed because financially she didn't believe she could survive without him. So she stayed and abuse got worse) she had multiple miscarriages from abuse between my elder brothers birth and mine.

If there was some family curse or bad luck involved. I never asked my Nonna about it as I didn't see her much because she hated my father and my mother and her never got along. My Nonna loved me and had a connection to me after I was born, but she was spiteful and it wouldn't surprise me if she directly did something to cause this before I was born. Just because she had a lot of interpersonal issues with my father and my mother (her daughter). Oddly I was the only one of my Nonnas (grandmothers) kids/grandkids that looked like her side of the family and had a lot of their mannerisms/quirks. Which is why she connected to me.

Any suggestions for cleansing or helping this bad luck stop happening?
