How to noise isolate room
I have a wooden wall between my room and my parents' bedroom (there was no wall before, it was made during the renovation on a small budget) but you can hear almost everything through it. I understand that I need to insulate the wall itself and the wall with access to the hallway. What are the options for insulating the room for \$1,500 or less to prevent the sound of conversations and possibly small screams? There is not much space. Additionally, I need to know if I need to insulate the other walls and the ceiling. The room is located in a corner of the house, and the other walls face the street. There's an attic on top, also made of wood, but it has glass wool and insulation. I'd appreciate any advice! And sorry for the strange style, I'm not very good at English
