Work sleep work G

Update: Basically, I’ve been feeling a bit overwhelmed and tired. Here’s a quick summary for anyone who hasn’t read my previous posts. I’m an electrician with just over a year of experience. I’ve switched between two companies, going from 5 euros net to 9 euros net, but in installments, and it’s not all that straightforward. I’m tired of working 9-hour shifts, waking up at 5 or 6 a.m., and commuting over an hour to work. I’m tired of dirty clothes and dust. 9 euros net per hour isn’t a huge amount of money, and considering the working conditions like, they only pay me once a month and the payment is split into several installments it’s hard for me to pay for an apartment because I’ve only been working for a month and a half, and I feel burned out; it feels like this is all nonsense. I want to work with a normal schedule and decent pay. For people aged 21–25, buying a car or God forbid an apartment is unrealistic. Spending everything down to zero or saving 50 euros at best is an endless cycle of samsara and for what? I can afford ice cream and walk around with a broken camera on my phone (I can’t afford to fix it) does everyone really live like this? I don’t have an apartment from my grandma, and my parents don’t help me don’t ask about that. Anyway, I’m curious to hear how you guys are managing.

Update: on working as an electrician in Riga: I quit my previous job and received a few offers one for 1,200 euros gross with not-so-great conditions, and another for 9 euros net per hour, but it involves a long commute of over an hour every day, which leaves my legs aching and me feeling exhausted. My takeaway: working as an electrician in Latvia isn’t a very comfortable job. Even the guys who know more than I do or who actually do design work barely get any sleep. It’s a 10+ hour workday with no decent pay, and many offer to pay under the table. I’d rate it a 6 out of 10 I can’t recommend it to everyone. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
