I need an alternative storyline!!
I am usually a romantasy reader who has started exploring Sanderson to book club with my hubby. I started with Tress, then Warbreaker, now I'm on Mistborn trilogy since I've more adjusted to his writing style. In Hero of Ages, (SPOILER!!) >! When Vin is getting feelings for Zane, I am CHEERING in excitement for her "saving" the morally grey guy, having the outcast future but still saving the world as a power duo, etc. Then Sanderson made Zane turn actually evil!! Wtf!!! While I appreciate the actual storyline, I need to see that where the final meeting with Zane doesn't turn bad, and Vin runs away with him. !< 😭😭😭 I am so pissy over this and my husband stayed up late just to cackle over my reaction since he knew what happened 😂 Am I the only one unsatisfied with this?? Also, I still have ~100 pages left of HoA, so please make sure if you mention a spoiler it is covered and what book it is from, so I can revisit after its read!
