Carpet beetle larvae
I was going to wash my bed sheets and when i took them off i found this crawling on my bed. in my head before i took the sheets off i said “what if i find a bug on my bed” jokingly not knowing it was actually going to happen. I used google to identify it and it said it was a carpet beatle larvae. Im scared that i have an infestation. Two days before this i woke up with a bug bite on my ankle (slide 2) where the end of my socks would be. At first i thought i had bedbugs but i had no sign of them so i eventually just ignored it. Ive looked under carpets i have in my room and i find the carpet beetle shells but no live beetles (besides the larvae i found today) im working on taking everything out my room that has any cotten and washing them (pillow cases, bedsheets, old clothes) is this a sign of infestation? and if so what can i do to get rid of them. i hate the feeling of that ive been sleeping with bugs for the however long.
