Are there any truly indestructible hearing devices for the trades?
As a general contractor, my daily environment is packed with sawdust, drywall particles, extreme sweat, and sudden rainstorms. I have already destroyed two sets of expensive devices in just five years because of grime and moisture which unavoidably clog the internal microphones. I am completely sick of paying for constant, pricey repairs!
I am desperately searching for the heavy-duty, "tough-as-nails" equivalent of a work boot for my ears. I need true IP68 water and dust resistance to survive a brutal job site. I couldn't care less about smartphone connectivity or streaming music; I just want a rugged device that won't die on me and can clearly amplify my crew's voices over loud machinery.
What are the absolute toughest models out there that blue-collar workers actually swear by?
