I am not quite sure where i should start searching, so i might as well ask here.

I am looking for groups/bands doing protest/folk songs/national identity songs, is what i can best describe it as.

As an example Ireland has a lot of this type of songs that are covered by a broad number of artists.

I don't know if Korea even has a tradition similar to that with a larger number of artist performing these types of songs, or if it is more songs sung at gatherings and in choirs.

Besides that I am also very interested in any Korean Punk bands :)
