please help, it's not working
I need help. First time winging it and I don't know. I'm making two quilts, one in the white squares seen here and one in coloures squares of the fabrics in the circles. THey're for twin boys so I wanted them to match but not be the same, so I thought positive and negative.
The circles (cut out roughly, they're not trimmed down yet) will be appliqued on the white and I'll have the same circles in the white fabrics on the colour quilt.
But, this is not working. It's not how I thought it would look in my head. I tried spacing them out and that's even stupider. Is this even a viable idea? I'm kind of stuck with this because I cannot spend more money on fabric. I can add more circles, I have a lot more of the stripes fabric and there's a whole range of large polka dot fabric not used so far.
Maybe not bunch them up but put a circle in each square? That might be a better idea. Ugh, why did I think I could design a quilt? I'm a pattern follower.
