Hi everyone,

My 9-year-old Golden Retriever was recently diagnosed with severe chronic kidney disease. It came quite suddenly after he started slowing down on walks a few weeks ago.

He has already started treatment with IV infusions at a veterinary clinic, and we are currently going through the process day by day.

I’m really struggling emotionally with this and would appreciate advice or experiences from anyone who has gone through something similar with their dog.
