When do we think WBWP Season 3 will actually release?
does anyone have any ideas when season 3 will release? i know they said “this summer,” but i tried looking at the season 2 rollout pattern and this is what i came up with:
season 2:
- filming: april 14 – july 3, 2025
- trailer: september 4, 2025
- premiere: september 12, 2025
so the trailer dropped about 63 days after filming wrapped, and only 8 days before the actual premiere.
but season 3 is different because:
- it only filmed for like 26 days (april 5 – may 1)
- it’s only 4 episodes
- and disney already confirmed it’s airing this summer
so the timeline looks like it could be:
-trailer: late june to mid july
- probably first or second week of july
and then:
- premiere: late july or early august
- maybe july 24, july 31, or early august
BUT what’s throwing me off is that:
- july is probably gonna be dominated by descendants 5 promo/hype
- and august is definitely gonna be all about camp rock 3
so i genuinely don’t know where wizards fits. june feels too early, but july/august also feels kind of crowded idkkk.
part of me feels like late june or early july actually makes the most sense now because it gives the show its own space before all the bigger movie releases fully take over summer promo. plus, since it’s being treated as a special four-part event, i could totally see disney doing a really short promo cycle and airing the episodes really close together instead of stretching them out over months.
