Things Escalated Quickly and I Panicked 😳🫣🤣🤣
This might or might not be the direct result of vodka and late-night Nikon browsing. No regrets… yet.

New photographer here looking for some advice.
I caught a friend mid-slide and I’m pretty happy with the timing, but I’m struggling with exposure. The sky is getting completely blown out and turning into a white wash.
Shot details:
Nikon Z6III
NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.8 S
ISO 1600
1/800 shutter
EV -1.3
What’s the best way to keep the sky from blowing out while still exposing the subject well? Appreciate any tips.
