10 Years undiscovered Seb derm?
Hey Friends, I need your help. I have androgenetic alopecia since 10 Years with diffuse thinning on top and in the neck and ear area.
I also had itiching scalp since 10 years but always thought it was normal due to alopecia. I now noticed probably inflammatory on scalp with Endoscope and little red points.
Of course I will ask another dermatologist. The First 3 doctors I visited all said I don’t have seborrhoic dermatitis but I don’t Trust them and will make a KOH Test.
Do you think I have Seb Derm?
I am Washing my Hair every Two Days with ketoconazole Shampoo 2% oder ciclopirox Shampoo 1,5% Since 1 Week.
Do I have to ask my Doctor for any precription of some topical corticosteroid lotion?
Do you think it is better to Use ketoconazole as Shampoo with washing the hairs or wouldnt it be better to mix ketoconazole with isopropylalkohol 70% and glycerin and bring it directly on the scalp - would it be more efficient or dry out the scalp?
When should I see the best improvement with the endoscope?
