Xiaomi 17T Pro missing Xiaomi Share “Tap to Share” and Circle to Search “Scroll and translate”
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a Xiaomi 17T Pro and have been using it for a few days. Overall the phone is great, but I noticed a couple of software/features differences compared with my Xiaomi 15T Pro, and I’m wondering if anyone else has the same issue.
On my 17T Pro:
Xiaomi Share does not show “Tap to Share”
On my 15T Pro, I can use Tap to Share, but on the 17T Pro I only see the normal Xiaomi Share options. I can’t find the tap-to-share behavior/settings anywhere.
Circle to Search is missing “Scroll and translate”
Circle to Search itself works, and the Translate button appears, but the “Scroll and translate” / continuous translation option is missing. On my 15T Pro, this feature is available.
The strange part is: if I clear the data/cache of the Google app, the “Scroll and translate” option comes back temporarily. But after some time, it disappears again.
Has anyone with a Xiaomi 17T Pro seen the same behavior? Is this related to HyperOS version, region/ROM, Google app rollout/server-side flag, or some permission/background restriction?

Things I’ve tried:
- Clearing Google app data/cache — temporarily fixes Circle to Search translation, but it disappears again later
Any ideas on how to fix this permanently? Should I report it to Xiaomi, Google, or just wait for an update?
