Rank 1 Harris Defiler Challenge 1:31 (Build in Video)

This was a lot of fun to do. I finally got a good ancestor mod after rerolling a bunch during the 50% off week so I decided to grind out some clears over the last two days.

For some tips on the fight and build, there are 3 things that are necessary for this build to defeat defiler in the quickest time. Those are range, duration up, and skill cost. Duration up is pretty much mandatory on the ancestor mod because there is no other source of getting more once you slot in the two normal duration mods and having more duration makes the quality of life of the fight much easier. Range is another big one to have in the build because it allows you to proc ammo recovery and fill up your custom resource bar even when defiler is half way across the map and cuts down on downtime you would have in the fight if he was too far and you didn't have the range to hit him. The last stat being skill cost is there so that your custom resource bar drains slower while using your 4th ability for round recovery. My ancestor had enough skill cost where I didn't need to run final wish, but that mod is there for a good amount of skill cost if you were to need it.

As for the fight, the biggest thing I can say is make sure you destroy the totems defiler spawns as quick as possible whenever he spawns them. My times started to get consistently faster when I focused the second wave of totems he spawns mid way into the fight and destroyed them. The fight I feel is 1 part skill staying on target and hitting his knee, and 2 parts rng hoping he spawns the totems in an easy spot to access so you can continue firing and not lose too much ammo in the process. I do think sub 1:30 is doable with better accuracy and better luck throughout the fight

Also shoutout to u/Sad_Economist_248 for his Harris defiler challenge vid to help get my gears turning

edit: also the crime and punishment is completely pointless for the fight, I don't even have a single catalyst in it, it is only there to look cool in the view descendant screen when they are holding a weapon lol
