**Is $21,000 fair for a full HVAC install in South Jersey NJ?**

Getting a full HVAC system installed on a 3-story townhome (~2,000 sq ft) . Got a quote for $21,000 and wanted to see if that's reasonable for the area.

**Equipment:**

- Ruud furnace R962V0855A21M4SCAP — 85,000 BTU, 96% AFUE, 2-stage, variable speed ECM

- Ruud evaporator coil RCFY4821STANMC — 4 ton

- Ruud condenser RA15AY42AJ1NA — 3.5 ton, 15 SEER, R-454B refrigerant

**Scope of work:**

- Full ductwork from scratch — dual zone with zoning board and electronic dampers for floors 1 and 2 independently

- Third "dump zone" line for lower level

- New return trunk line for upper bedrooms and open area

- Honeywell media filter, safety switch, neutralizing condensate pump

- Bathroom exhaust venting, kitchen hood vent, hard pipe dryer vent

- Manual J load calc and duct drawings for permit
