Controller Settings - looking for some help
I'm playing on X-Box X and I'm having difficulties at times controlling the car. I understand there are multiple variables at play (the car, the surface, the tuning, which result in oversteer and understeer etc. etc.), however I think that my biggest problem is how the controller is configured. I am using a standard X-Box wireless controller.
My problems - sometimes ("I feel"):
- The car overreacts to the input
- The car underreacts to the input (this is likely car tuning or circumstances I*d guess)
The issue is, I would expect the controller to scale a bit from the center. If I don't move it - I'd expect no turning (that's fine just to be clear). However if I move it left or right, it seems like it is extremely quickly at a 100% hard right/left. I'm looking for more "sensitivity". Yes, I know I could buy a gaming steering wheel, however that seems like overkill.
I was wondering if someone could give me a decent configuration for the standard X-Box wireless controller. I am willing to accept that I myself am the problem, since I am a bit older.
