Rouge/Shay Patrick Cormac

Rouge/Shay Patrick Cormac

This is easily my favorite character in the Assassin’s Creed series. I love his story the most, and I find his connections really interesting like his connection to Haytham, the son of Edward and father of Connor. I also love Shay’s connection to Arno. I just wish they had somehow met in game. I feel the same way about Connor too. Missed opportunity, if you ask me.

What I regret most is how much I underestimated Rogue. I honestly thought it was literally just a copy of Black Flag with a new main character and story. Oh, how wrong I was! There are so many new and unique mechanics. One thing that really stood out to me was the fact that enemy boats can invade your ship, which I never saw in Black Flag or any other Assassin’s Creed game involving naval combat.

The thing that surprised me the most while playing the game was just how much I ended up liking Shay.

My question is what do you all think about Shay, not just as a character but design wise, and his journey.

Which AC game is best for pure massacre in free roam?

Personally so far I think AC 3 is the best. Just for Connors sheer brutality, the way he jumps at people with a sword in hand, it's like a jumpscare out of FNAF 😂. The fact that he throws these guys over his shoulder is badass to me. I also think his hidden blade is by far the best.
