A problem I have with burst
Ok so this isn’t meant to be negative as I love the burst gen it’s the series I grew up with, but now that I’m older, I’ve noticed something that gives me a little hiccup. It’s the power scaling.
I feel like every season mainly after god basically became about who had the latest beyblade system and hence made them stronger than someone with actual experience. Of course infamously Valt vs Aiga in the first episode of Cho z is a good example of this, as aiga had never battled a day in his life and somehow almost beat the world champion on his first try. I’m not saying aiga has plot armor, more like the writers made him really strong for some reason.
Even beyblade X (Which I personally think is lame asf) did/is doing a better job at this. Even with CX expand or ux, all of the other beyblades like dran sword still stand a good chance of winning.
I really hate doing this but if we look at metal fight, even with the star fragments, it wasn’t just about the bey but also the bladers experience and strategy as well. Like it was more like they got more gimmicks rather than raw power, which would’ve been nice to see in burst. I’m not saying the burst beys couldn’t get upgrades and stuff, but a more balanced power system kinda like in the manga would’ve been nice to see.
