Needing help with a 3589 coin jam
To preface this: I do not own the vending machine (would love to get into the business one day, but that day is just not today lol). The vending machine is located at the laundry mat I work at. There hadn't been any issues prior but out of nowhere the machine started rejecting coins and bills (bill receiver wont activate upon trying to put a bill in and any and all coins immediately get returned). We would clear the jam but it would happen again within 24 hours. I've done a lot of research and it seems the coins are sliding behind the first green plastic piece in the conlux coin discriminator (not the one that actually sends the coins to the collector but behind the discriminator). I wont have access to the inside of the machine till tomorrow but I'd like to try to troubleshoot it before the owner drops a few hundred dollars to replace the entire thing. I figured worse case scenario it gives me hands on experience with working on a vending machine but best case we solve the issue and I gain the experience of working on it.
Most of the instructional videos online I've watched but they don't say what to do in a situation like this and the articles have seemed to be even more unhelpful then that.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciative!
