I have an electrician coming out because I know that there shouldn’t be a power cord strapped to a pole, but besides that point does the rest of this furnace setup look appropriate?
After electrician comes out, going to have HVAc tech come service the furnace and get there opinion but would be helpful to here any red flags before so I can point it out.
I’m helping care for my mother in her elder days.
I happened to go into her utility room the other day and just wasn’t so sure about the HVAC setup. I’m very inexperienced so it may be fine, but I want to have someone come out and check the duct/wiring/pipe work to see if it’s safe/right/up to code.
Are most HVAC techs capable of assessing and remedying the setup if needed? Is the way I phrased it the appropriate way to ask on a call to the company?
I’ve never owned a home so I really don’t know anything about this.
