Interview at Van eaton tomorrow

26F in the Midwest. I have an interview tomorrow for a Mixer Truck Driver position with Van Eaton.

I got my Class A CDL in 2025 but haven’t had the chance to use it professionally yet. I’ve had several interviews for Class B driving jobs without much luck, so I’m wondering if there’s something I’m missing.

One thing I’ve noticed is that I usually show up in business casual attire, while many of the other applicants look like they came straight from a driving job or a construction site. For those of you in the industry, what do you typically wear to interviews for mixer driver positions?

Any tips for the interview itself? What kinds of questions should I expect?

Also, are there any women here who work for Van Eaton or in the concrete/cement industry? I’d love to hear about your experience and any advice you have for someone trying to break into the field.

Thanks!
