How are we upleveling from "newbie" to "strategic business partner"?
Hi Creators! I've been doing UGC for a few months now so I'm still relatively new as we all know this takes a while to build up. I have done several videos for a local business, I landed 1 video on JoinBrands and several selfie jobs, and I am now on an app (and actively creating videos for 10 brands I've connected with) that has no base pay only pay per item sold through the ads I create. It's not necessarily ideal for the long term, but as I'm building my portfolio, I'm willing to do it for brands I am excited about. My question is, now that I am not such a newbie, what apps should I be using/ how should I be pitching myself? I've been on a few (BackStage, Brkaway, and pitched on Bento) but nothing has stuck yet. My goal is to eventually make a full time business out of this and don't want to get pigeon holed into creating content with no guaranteed payout. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
