Can I ask to meet with professors after graduating (for academic reasons)?

Essentially, I graduated this year, but I only realized in my final semester of undergrad exactly how much I love my major and how incredibly sad I felt about not being able to study it more deeply. So I've made kind of a last-minute decision to apply for a master's...I've already missed the application deadline for this cycle and have several months left to prepare.

During that time, I've been thinking that it might be helpful if I could get in touch with some of my old professors to discuss my application plans or just to get some general advice on going deeper into this field, especially since I plan to apply for the same school I got my bachelor's at. But I don't know if this would be considered rude- technically I'm not their student anymore and they're not obligated to take extra time out of their schedule just to talk to me. Would it do any harm just to ask, though?
