I live in a small apartment with a roommate, and I’m always looking for ways to make the space feel quieter without shutting myself off from everything around me. I recently decided to test the Soundcore A30 by wearing them overnight while listening to some background white noise. I thought there’s no way they’d last that long, especially since I’ve had them on all day too, but to my surprise, the battery held up all through the night.

It didn’t die halfway through, and I woke up to still having plenty of power left. This was a big win for me because I’ve been using them daily for months, and they’ve always lasted way longer than I expected.

I love that they still let in some noise, so if my roommate needs me or if I need to hear something from the outside world, I’m not totally shut off. For anyone looking for quiet but not complete isolation—especially in a shared space like mine—these headphones have been perfect.

Does anyone else use headphones this way, mixing in some quiet with background noise? How do you make sure you stay connected while still having some personal space?
