The VA ordered a re-exam right as I moved into step 5. Just got an email today from LSGS that the VA has requested another C&P Exam for my PTSD claim. I am so, so tired and frustrated. If you’ve gone through this, can you share your experience with me? I’m ready to just withdraw my claim at this point.

I know these things aren’t open and shut, but this will be my 4th exam in connection to this claim (the VA filed secondary claims for me during this process as well). I just want it to be done. I’m regretting even opening this all back up in the first place. I’m feeling very disheartened and I’m just ready to get a denial at this point.

I have a claim pending for PTSD that I filed a few months ago. In April I had my C&P, and after my C&P exam results/DBQ was submitted to the VA about a month later, the VA filed two more claims for me as secondary to PTSD. I just finished the C&P exams for those today.

What I am asking is, did the examiner for my PTSD give a favorable opinion that the rater is going to approve it and that is why they filed secondary claims for me? Sorry if this doesn’t make sense. It just seems odd to me that the VA would file claims as secondary to a condition that hasn’t technically be granted yet and I’m trying to wrap my head around it.
