Mould in orchid pot

Mould in orchid pot

Hi everyone, long story short, I’m getting mould in my pot of orchid frequently. Keeping outside from time to time and scraping mould hasn’t worked yet. Not watering frequently. What to do? Thanks.

Is this a sucker?

Hi everyone, just saw some new shoots popping up at the base of my rose plant. Is this a sucker? Should I remove it? Thank you

Hello everyone!
I am preparing my garden for spring and plan to plant dahlias. I’m hoping for advice on how to get flowers as early as the start of spring (September) and keep them blooming until winter begins next year.
Last year, I planted dwarf dahlia seedlings in August. They took about two months to mature, and I didn't see the first blooms until December. Unfortunately, the flowering stopped when the summer heat peaked, and they only performed well again in autumn before dying back in April.
Could you please recommend when I should start with tubers to achieve early spring blooms that last through the end of autumn? Any tips on sustaining them through the summer heat would also be greatly appreciated! (Or to achieve this, should I plant proper plants not tubers?)
Thank you

Hi everyone, I’d been trimming my leylandi cypress hedge with an electric hedge trimmer but I can’t ever get a velvety look. 1st photo is the hedge I’m maintaining and the second is a photo that I want it to be like. Can you give me any recommendations of the types of hedge trimmers that I can buy in order to achieve this quality of the hedge? Thank you in advance.
