Good morning, I joined this Reddit as I work retail and every day I come home in intense pain in my ankles, knees and hips/lower back. So I’m just wondering if I should consider trying to get a diagnoses? A year ago I dislocated my kneecap, and now it slips out incredibly easy. My hips, which have no injuries, at times slip out a little bit, so when I’m walking I feel it constantly slipping out and grinding a little bit. My jaw constantly pops and I have to be careful with certain foods because sometimes it pops and sends sharp pain through my jaw. If I sleep on my side my shoulder tends to feel like muscle is in there and grinding in the bone. So it’s hard to move that shoulder, at least without pain. I’ve been considering getting a cane to help with the days where my knees are slipping and my hip is slipping, but I also get nervous about not having a diagnoses as coming off strange? So I guess it’s two bits, should I go forward to get tested for EDS, as well as should I perhaps get a cane, what kind? I apologize for the rant, I just don’t know. Also note, I am double jointed as well. Idk if that helps.
