I'm from Korea, and my English isn't very good, so I'm using a translator to write this post.

I currently own an iPad Pro. I've been looking into e-ink devices lately for reading and language learning, and I've decided to buy a used Supernote.

However, I can't decide between the Manta and the Nomad.

The Manta has a larger screen, which seems convenient and better for viewing PDFs for my studies. On the other hand, the Nomad is very portable, so it looks great for reading on the go.

The price difference in USD is:

I'm looking for a compact e-ink device primarily for studying Japanese and general note-taking. Due to budget constraints, I've narrowed my choices down to the Viwoods AiPaper Mini and the Supernote Nomad. 

Here are my main needs and concerns:

Japanese Study & Note-Taking: I'll be using it heavily for practicing Japanese (Kanji/vocabulary) and taking everyday notes.

OCR & Dictionary Lookup: Quick dictionary integration via OCR is essential for looking up Japanese words seamlessly.

Large PDF Performance: I often work with heavy, multi-page PDFs, so smooth performance and zero lag are top priorities.

For those who have used either device, how do they compare in handling heavy PDFs, dictionary lookup/OCR capabilities, and general language study workflows? Which one would you recommend?

I'd really appreciate your advice!
