Concert in Lisbon (14/07)

Concert in Lisbon (14/07)

Hi everyone! Me again. Another question.

I'm wondering about whether I got a good seat or not. Now to be clear, what happened was I found out about the concert quite late, a while after tickets went on sale - and when I went to buy, somehow miraculously, there was ONE ticket left. Of course I immediately bought it.

However, here's the thing: I don't know if its a good seat or not. I don't remember the exact number, but here's the seating chart:
https://c.ststat.net/content/seatingplans/6cc230e5-1b0a-4042-90dd-ead992f25ff7.jpg

That front block is "golden" seating. The last block at the very back is all standing. I am in the block in between (Plateia A), on the left-hand side, more or less towards the middle/left hand side of the row, in what I think is the last row (I believe it's Row T, but this seating chart just goes up to O, so I think maybe the chart is just not covering everything).

Now I will be regardless happy to be at the concert, but I want to know for those who have attended, are the screens/stage set up good enough for everyone to see and have a good time? I obviously know I'll be a bit far back, but that doesn't mean I can't have a good time if I can still see throughout the show. I am wondering if I am indeed in the last row (when I booked it showed I was in the last row, but I don't know how accurate the chart is as I said), whether I may actually be allowed to stand since there won't be anyone behind me.

I am sure it depends on the venue as well, but while I haven't been to this festival (Ageas Cooljazz) before, I don't think it's a HUGE venue. I found this picture that seems to show its capacity from last year:

I know it's random, but I obviously don't want to pitch up for the concert and discover I have a terrible seat obviously. I'd love to have been closer, but as I said this was LITERALLY the last seat in the entire venue.

Posters and Merch

Hi everyone!

I'm very excited to be going to the show in Lisbon in 2 weeks. I'm originally from South Africa, which is not always consistent in getting big artists, so I've not been to many concerts! I've been to a few but not as much as others

I definitely want to buy some merch. I was going to buy the vinyl but my local record store was having a sale so I got it there. I'm keen to see what else is there - I've seen the pictures of the merch tables at other stops so I have a good idea but I'm still exploring!

For those who bought posters, how much did you pay? I see on his website they're about $44 but I don't know if that's because they're specific to certain stops. If they are that much in person...why? Not being obtuse (as I said, I'm new to concert experiences), so I'm wondering if that's par for the course and ultimately worth the price.

Also side question: does anyone know if there's opportunities to get David to sign something? I don't mind getting there earlier/staying later, and while it's far from compulsory I'd love to know if anyone knows if there's usually a way to catch him or get something sent back for him to sign. Of course seeing him in person is a big deal (especially coming all the way from South Africa) but getting to meet him would be the cherry on top.

Show in Lisbon/Cascais (14/07)

Is anyone else going to be attending the show in Cascais next month? If so, it might be fun to meet up with everyone!

Related question: does the merch stand sell either David's new book or the Who Is the Sky vinyl/CD? I want to buy something but I'm not super keen on a EUR 40 poster, so if I am going to spend some money, I'd like either the book or the vinyl!
