Softball team looking for female players
Hello!
My softball team are looking to recruit one or ideally two ladies able to play Wednesday evenings in Pontcanna fields over the summer.
If you’re not familiar with the game (and most aren’t), it’s a derivative of baseball. Larger balls, slightly smaller playing area, more scoring (however the balls aren’t soft!). Men and women play in equal numbers on the same team. Excellent social side, and if you’re really keen the opportunity to place in tournaments around the country at weekends.
If you regularly play, or have played any team or individual sport, you’ll find it easy to pick up the basics in no time, most of us had never played before we joined.
