I feel like I'm always finding out about stuff after it happens and someone's like "oh yeah that was last weekend." Love that I missed it again..

I've tried following a bunch of city pages and Instagram accounts but its so much stuff to do and sometimes so little. Some of it ends up being old when it pushes to my feed, and the rest is just things that aren't really near me.

What do you use? Is there one place you trust, or is everyone just kind of piecing it together from Facebook groups and word of mouth? I can't be the only one who keeps missing things.
