It started as a simple tool for my own use

Months ago I got a merchant cash advance offer, factor rate 1.35. Every calculator I found was on a lender's own site, or locked behind an email signup. I had no idea how to navigate MCA terms, and I hated doing math on paper, so I built one instead.

I figured out MCA, then i looked into other financial products too, but answers didn't come easily. Because I'm motivated by "lazy," I built more tools. One after another, I began to build with a passion. Then it hit me, this is meant to be shared.

There are now five tools on my site. If you can relate to being confused by a factor rate, an SBA application, or a lender term sheet, you may find it useful.

findfundcall.com is a work in progress. Most tools work better on desktop, there are going to be inaccuracies, and I'm still refining it. Use it as a reference and educational tool, not financial advice. I'm one person building this and I'm open to corrections. The whole idea is based off my own experience and belief: Know more than you should before walking into a lender's office.

Start with findfundcall.com/funding-guide if it is your first dip into business loans. I've tried to model an "internal voice" feature to give users as much context without the UX being convoluted.

Would genuinely appreciate feedback or criticism. And if you've ever signed something without fully understanding it, I'd like to hear that story too.
