I assume that this might be used as a reference to older editions, when voting systems weren’t so modern, and there was actually some counting involved.

But, I was curious - does anyone have any idea how voting on such large scale contests works? Is the winner known the moment after voting lines close? Or do they actually count the votes and have to wait? Do individual broadcasters count them, and then send their country’s specific voting results to EBU while the interval acts take place? Or does the technical team use this time to input the points in some software for when they will be revealed in the voting segment of the show, to be prepared?

When I try to drink, I just feel the alcohol hit my mouth and I instantly want to puke and have trouble even getting it down. Maybe this is the reason why, but I drink it usually as a mix of vodka and some mixer, and get it down slowly, sip by sip.

How can I take alcohol without this need to puke? Do I just take shots or what?
